Did you know horses with different color patterns go by different names?
Horses that are a dark reddish brown in color are called “Chestnut.”
Horses with a light reddish brown color are called “Bay.”
Horses with black hair are simply “Black.”
“Flea Bitten” horses have white hair with black spots of hair that look a little bit like fleas. (These horses do not necessarily have fleas.)
“Skewbald” horses have colored coats with big patches of white hair on them.
Horses with white hair and black skin are “Gray” (their hair looks gray because of their black skin even though their hair is really white).
“Brown” horses have black and brown hair.
What kind of horse will you color?
